Richard A. Hetzel is a Registered
Architect in New York since 1977 and a Home
Designer in Pennsylvania
since 2004. He has been in private practice
since 1978, specializing in residential work: additions, alterations, new homes,
decks, kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements etc. He is particularly interested in “impossible”
projects.
He is also experienced in commercial buildings of all kinds, indoor tennis
buildings, telephone buildings, and ecclesiastical buildings, with projects
ranging from very small up to $3,500,000.
He also has background in associated fields such as civil engineering, land
Surveying, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, real estate appraisal,
and useful life and depreciation studies for buildings in over 40 states,
including the PSFS building in Philadelphia.
He served as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Village of Haverstraw, New York, for 3 ½ years.
